E2 has been serving the Beaumont Leys community in Leicester since 2005. Our mission is to empower Beaumont Leys through Education, support and community action, addressing the challenges faced by one of the UK’s most deprived areas. Home Farm, where we are based, falls within the 1% most deprived areas in the country, making our work vital for local residents.
E2 delivers five free weekly youth sessions for children aged 5–16, with activities like boxing, football, cooking, gaming, music and arts & crafts in Beaumont Leys and Abbey Wards.
Volunteer role:
Volunteers will help support session delivery by assisting with activities, encouraging participation, helping supervise young people, setting up and packing away equipment, and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Food Pantry in Leicester: Affordable and Sustainable
Launched in 2019, our Food Pantry reduces food waste and helps local residents cut their weekly shopping costs with affordable access to a variety of food items.

Volunteers will assist with sorting and organising food deliveries, stocking shelves, welcoming members, supporting check-ins, and helping maintain a friendly and respectful environment for community members.

Alternative Education in Leicester and Leicestershire
We run vocational courses 3 days a week during term time, helping young people gain practical skills and qualifications awarded through AIM Group.
