Active Charnwood are responsible for delivering a wide range of sport, physical activity, health and wellbeing programmes, and activities to a the 189,000 residents that live within the borough.
Specifically, the team leads and delivers services, programmes and activities that enable the residents of Charnwood to be physically and mentally active and to play an active role in their communities, with a particular focus on groups who face the greatest barriers to participation and inequalities.
