Leicestershire Scouts is part of the UK’s largest youth movement, empowering young people across the county with skills for life. With more than 7,600 young members supported by over 2,200 incredible volunteers, we’re a vibrant community helping young people aged 4 to 25 discover adventure, friendship, and confidence.
Spanning 10 districts and 111 local groups, Leicestershire Scouts offers opportunities for everyone — from outdoor challenges and international experiences to local community projects. Together, we’re helping young people step up, try new things, and make a positive difference in their world.
Behind the scenes, our dedicated trustees play a vital role in keeping Scouting strong and sustainable across Leicestershire. They provide the structure, governance, and guidance that enable our volunteers and leaders to focus on delivering safe, high-quality programmes for young people. Their commitment ensures that Scouting continues to thrive and make an impact for generations to come.
Every experience with Leicestershire Scouts is a chance to grow. From camping under the stars to learning new skills or travelling abroad, our members gain confidence, resilience, and memories that last a lifetime. Whether you’re four or twenty-five, there’s always something new to discover — and always a friendly team ready to welcome you.
