Do you have a couple of hours to spare once a month on a Saturday afternoon and would like to help children in Melton Mowbray and surrounding areas?
Melton Mowbray Child Contact Centre are looking for volunteers.
We provide vital support for children affected by the impact of family breakdown, by providing a safe, friendly, neutral space for them to spend time with the parent they no longer live with or other family members.
You need to be impartial, caring, tolerant, sensitive, discreet, and reliable. You must always put children’s needs first and not take sides with parents or other family members.
Previous experience of working with children is not essential as induction support and further training is given to help you in your role.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
