We fundraise in Melton Mowbray for the charity by organising events and encouraging others to raise funds.
We have committee meetings about 5 times a year to plan events, coordinate our activities, and check on fundraising.
The Macmillan charity is well recognised and our fundraising makes a very worthwhile contribution to fund nurses and support for cancer patients and their families. There is not a regular time commitment and we would welcome people with new ideas and enthusiasm to join us.
